The ring of wealth is an enchanted ring made by casting the spell Lvl-5 Enchant on a Dragonstone ring, requiring level 68 Magic and granting 78 experience. Like other dragonstone jewellery, it can be charged to provide teleports, albeit only at the Fountain of Rune. Wearing this ring (whether charged or not) while killing monsters will automatically pick up coins, Tokkul, or numulites dropped by monsters. When worn it also removes the chance to receive a "nothing" drop when accessing the Rare drop table and Gem drop table. See below for more information about this feature.
The price difference between a fully charged ring and an uncharged one is 2,670 coins, so each charge costs about 534 coins.
Players can imbue the ring using a ring of wealth scroll, which can be purchased from Justine's stuff for the Last Shopper Standing for 5 Last Man Standing points. Wearing an imbued ring in the Wilderness doubles the chance of obtaining a clue scroll from monsters and from skilling.

Features[edit | edit source]
Rare drop enhancement[edit | edit source]
Wearing this ring completely removes the chance to receive "nothing" as a result of accessing the rare drop table and gem drop table. This also means the effective chance of receiving a gem or a mega-rare item from these tables is significantly increased, due to those two tables containing a "nothing" drop on them.
The ring of wealth approximately doubles the chance of receiving a regular item from the gem drop table by removing the 63 empty slots out of the 128 entries in the drop table. It also removes all 113 empty slots out of the 128 entries in the mega rare drop table, increasing the chance of obtaining a mega rare item by a factor of approximately 16.8 from the gem drop table, and by a factor of 8.5 from the rare drop table. The ring of wealth does not change the items dropped by any monster - it only increases the chance of getting an item from the rare drop table should the chance present itself.
Note that the ring only needs to be worn by the player while dealing the killing blow before the loot appears. It does not have to be worn during the entire battle, so the player may wear a stat-boosting ring until the monster is at low health and then switch to the ring of wealth when the killing blow is about to be dealt.
Note that the ring's rare drop enhancement only affects the specific drops that are accessed through the rare and gem drop tables. It does not boost the chances of receiving monster-specific unique drops, nor does it remove any "nothing" drops that are specific to a monster's own drop table. It also does not affect gem drops from monsters such as Ogress Warriors, considering their gem drops are not accessed through the gem drop table specifically.
Ironmen who desire a Dragon spear or Shield left half may opt to wear a ring of wealth when defeating monsters, especially if the monsters roll the rare drop table often, as they are significantly more likely to receive these items while the ring is worn. It is notable that the player doesn't have to start Legend's Quest to receive items from the mega-rare drop table if they are wearing the ring, although starting the quest does increase the likelihood of those drops.
Currency collection[edit | edit source]
With a ring of wealth equipped, any coins, Tokkul, and numulites dropped by monsters that the player kills will automatically be added to the player's inventory instead of dropping on the ground. This can be toggled by right-clicking the ring.
The coin collection works as long as the player did the most damage to a monster. This means that if the player leaves before killing a monster and another player deals the killing blow, the player will get the coin reward for it regardless of distance.
Teleportation[edit | edit source]
The ring, like all other dragonstone jewellery, is useful when travelling in the Wilderness, as it will work up to level 30 Wilderness, while most other means of teleportation will not work above level 20 Wilderness. Players can access the teleports by either rubbing it in their inventory and selecting their destination from the option box which appears, or right-clicking it while equipped and selecting a destination. The ring of wealth may be preferable in the wilderness compared to an amulet of glory, as it can be worn and therefore the destination can be accessed directly from the right click menu, yet it is not visible on the character model, attracting less attention from player killers.
The ring has no charges when it is created, and can only be charged at the Fountain of Rune; not even a charge dragonstone jewellery scroll works on it. Charging it at the Fountain of Rune gives it five charges and enables it to be used to teleport to the following locations at a cost of one charge per teleport:
Destination | Map |
---|---|
Miscellania[a] | |
Grand Exchange entrance | |
Falador Park | |
Dondakan, in the Keldagrim south-west mine[b] |
- ^ Requires completion of Throne of Miscellania
- ^ Requires completion of Between a Rock...
Price per teleport[edit | edit source]
The price per teleport of the ring changes depending on Grand Exchange prices. Below is a table that shows the current price, price per teleport, the money loss after selling the uncharged ring, and finally the cost per teleport after adjusting for selling the uncharged ring.
Item | Ring Cost | Total Loss | Cost Per Teleport | |
---|---|---|---|---|
Ring of wealth (5) | 14,369 | −2,670 | -534.00 |
Boss log[edit | edit source]
The ring of wealth has a right-click option to bring up a log recording various bosses the player has killed and the number of times the player has killed them.
Other features[edit | edit source]
Wearing a ring of wealth increases the number of feathers dropped by the evil chicken, and makes it likelier to receive certain items from chests unlocked along the course of the Shades of Mort'ton minigame, such as fine cloth or broken coffin locks.[1]

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Initially, some players believed that wearing a ring of wealth would give a better chance of landing on a rare drop table when completing a clue scroll.[2] It has later been reconfirmed multiple times that this is not the case.[3][4][5]
- Before the introduction of the Grand Exchange, Falador Park served as a massive player-to-player trading hub in both members and free-to-play worlds.
